The American Red Cross Needs Your Expertise!

Calling upon all health professionals, real estate agents, community relations professionals, government relations professionals, boy scouts, and those willing to learn.

Disaster services is currently recruiting volunteers for three specialty areas: Health Services, Partner Services, and Disaster Assessment.

Health Services: Become a leader and part of the Red Cross volunteer team. The Red Cross is looking for active or recently retired RNs LPNs, PAs, MDs, and EMTs. When a disaster hits, these volunteers are called upon to deliver basic healthcare at emergency shelters and on response teams both locally and nationally.

Partner Services: Become an ambassador to the American Red Cross by focusing on Community and Government Relations. During a disaster relief operation, skilled volunteers become a valuable liaison between the Red Cross and local and state non-government and government partners.

Disaster Assessment: We’re recruiting community members who are interested in property assessment and like to read maps, including real estate professionals and boy scouts. When a disaster strikes, be in the field to assess damage to residential structures and help determine delivery of services to disaster survivors.

Youth Board Fundraiser

The American Red Cross Granite Chapter Youth Board is holding a one day fundraiser!

We need everyone to come out and have fun while supporting the Youth Board to help us reach our goal! If the profits are under $1,000 the Youth Board will earn 15% of the profits; if they are over, then 20% of the profits will be earned.

The Youth Board is raising money towards International Relief, namely Haiti and Chile, as well as the Youth Board general fund to help support the annual scholarship awarded to a graduating senior. Feel free to tell and bring as many friends and family as you want. The efforts made by Red Cross Volunteers across the country throughout these last months have been immense to say the least, so let's keep the trend going!

Be sure to obtain a ticket! Print the ticket below and bring it in to UNOs. Make sure you give it to your server during your meal. This will allow you to make the contribution towards the fundraiser. Remember, this can go a long way in terms of contributing to the Red Cross effort to provide aid for those who truly need it. It is also a great opportunity to meet new people who support the same cause. We encourage you to be a part of this wonderful experience and join the Red Cross Youth Board of the Granite Chapter in its effort.
